Welcome to the Yuni Furniture & Lifestyle (“Yuni”) website (“the Service”) terms and conditions for use (“the Terms”).

The present Terms govern the use of this Service and the Agreement that operates between the User and Yuni. These Terms set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding the use of the Service and through the access and/ or use of this website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms set out below.
By accessing or using the Service, the User agrees to be bound by these Terms and should the User disagree with any part of these Terms then the User may not access the Service.
The User’s access to and use of the Service is also conditional upon the User’s acceptance of and compliance with Yuni’s Privacy Policy. Yuni’s Privacy Policy describes its policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of the User’s personal information when using the Website and informs the User of its privacy rights. Please read Yuni’s Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.
1. GENERAL TERMS
The User is required to:
1.1. register all relevant personal information and contact details on Yuni’s system;
1.2. receive an order confirmation from Yuni; and
1.3. effect payment, with the crediting of such a payment being verified by Yuni,
prior to the delivery of the User’s order.
2. REGISTRATION
Should the User want to place an order with Yuni, the User will first need to sign up on Yuni’s website through the creation of an account. By signing up, the User confirms that it agrees to all the Terms of Yuni’s website.
Upon creating an account, the User undertakes to provide Yuni with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of the User’s account on the Service.
The User is responsible for safeguarding the password that he uses to access the Service and for any activities or actions under its password, whether the password is with Yuni’s Service or a Third-Party Social Media Service.
The User agrees not to disclose its password to any third party and to notify Yuni immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of the User’s account. Yuni shall not be liable for any loss, damage and/or prejudice suffered as a result of such a security breach or unauthorized use.
The User may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than the User itself, without appropriate authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene.
The User shall be responsible for all activities and orders placed under its registered account. A User may deregister at any time by contacting Yuni on (230) 2458100 or shop@yuni.mu.
3. PRICES
Yuni’s products are sold at the price advertised on the website at the time of the User’s order. The price of any products that is out of stock at the time of order may be subject to change, and the price charged may differ from the price displayed at the time the product was previously available. Yuni reserves the right to change its prices at any time, prior to the confirmation of the User’s order, without notice. All prices are VAT inclusive and are applicable at the time of the User’s order.
4. OFFERS & PROMOTION
Yuni reserves the right to withdraw or vary its offers and promotions at any time, prior to the confirmation of a User’s order, without notice.
Photographs are only here to guide the User on its purchase and do not form part of the sale’s contract. While ordering, the User shall review the products’ description.
5. PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD
Yuni uses MCB’s payment gateway service to process all credit card payments and do not store any Credit Card information on its systems. Payment is cleared during the transaction with an automated response of an accepted or declined transaction sent to us within minutes.
6. PAYMENT BY JUICE
The Juice payment process is provided by MCB. Whilst using the Juice by MCB method, the User should select the PAY A MERCHANT option, select the telephone number 52542220 and the merchant’s name YUNI/Outdoor Furniture Ltd. Users shall fill in your order reference in the remark field.
Failure to put the correct order reference in the remark field may cause delays in Yuni processing the User’s order. Payments made by Juice are usually received within 1 working day and refunds, if necessary, are done via standard Bank Transfers (see below Bank Transfers).
7. PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER
Bank Transfer payments is provided by your bank. When you select this payment method on the site, the User will be given an account number and merchant name, as follows:

The User is required to put its order reference in the remark field. Failure to put the correct order reference in the remark field may cause delays processing your order. Payments made by bank transfers are usually received within 1 to 2 working days. In some instances, this may take longer and is not within our control; a payment may appear on the User’s statement immediately but take 5 or more working days to appear on Yuni’s statement. Refunds, if necessary, are done via the same method and whilst processed within 1 working day, the funds may not be credited immediately due to the banks’ processes and thus for reasons not within our control.
8. HOME DELIVERY
The User is required to ensure that only one delivery address is entered. The products will be delivered by Yuni’s delivery team, at the given address upon placing the order. Delivery is made from Monday to Friday between 10h00 and 17h00 and on Saturday between 10h00 and 13h00.
9. PICK-UP IN STORE
A store pick-up option is available and Users are requested to contact Yuni on (230) 245 8100 or shop@yuni.mu to arrange for the collection of an item.
10. CANCELLING AN ORDER
To cancel an order, a User must necessarily contact Yuni’s shop on (230) 245 8100 or shop@yuni.mu.
11. RETURNS
Yuni’s items are not exchangeable or refundable once sold and delivered. It is for the User to verify and ensure the condition of the product delivered at the time of delivery or collection, i.e. before signing the delivery and collection slip.
Should the User note that an order shows a defect, or is damaged, or the product is not as ordered upon delivery or collection, the User shall not take delivery and shall inform the shop for replacement. Yuni will not be responsible for any breakages, nonconformity or shortages of the products ordered once delivery has been made.
12. ACCESS TO AND AVAILABILITY OF THE WEBSITE
Users may, from time to time, experience disruptions due to essential maintenance or problems beyond Yuni’s control involving suppliers, communications, the internet, the User’s own computer or software failures. Accordingly, Yuni does not warrant that the website will be available continuously and shall not be liable for any downtime or disruption in website availability. Firewalls and antivirus programs need to be installed on the User’s computer for safety purposes.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The content and design of these website pages are subject to copyright and are owned by Outdoor Furniture Ltd. The User may print pages for its personal use but no part of this website, Yuni’s logos or trademarks may be reproduced or transmitted in any way or for any other purpose. Other than having permission to access the website and use the services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the User agrees that nothing herein creates or grants any right in or ownership of any intellectual property rights existing in the presentation or format of the website or in any software, content, information, data or databases provided through the website or used in or forming part of the services. This includes without limitation any registered or unregistered trademarks, service marks, logos, designs, database rights, copyright, rights in domain names or data owned by or vested in us or any third party. All rights in relation to Intellectual Property not expressly granted by Yuni are hereby reserved to Yuni (or our licensors) and no right, license or benefit to such Intellectual Property is granted to the User.
21. APPLICABLE LAW
The relevant laws of Mauritius will apply to the present Terms and the courts of Mauritius will have exclusive jurisdiction. Should any of these Terms be found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the remaining terms. These will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by Mauritian law.
